Akai Touch What Happened?

I purchased a Akai Touch(around $500) when it came out. At the time it was supposed to be the hottest interface with a standalone possibility down the line to use an external hard drive and other updates to be announced. There were talks about making a more stand alone the Live and then the X.
Well as you know at the beginning of the year they came out with the two interfaces the LIVE(around$1k) and X (around close to 2k). And they priced the shit out it. Yes there nice devices. The problem I have is the TOUCH not only seems to have been abandoned with me not finding or even seeing any mention of it any more by the company or any updated for it. It had bug that were never addressed like the one frustrating one was I found was constantly having to download the drivers and the displaylink software. Which is an issue everyone started also complaining about. Still not fixed. I can count on one hand how many times I actually got to use it. Not even edit or really learn the device. Akai did put out tutorials which were excellent at the beginning then people started complaining about the same issues I was having especially with the driver and display link. Esspecally the one having to install the software every time they went to use it. especially if it wasn't connected or used for a short time. I'm really disappointed with my first Akai. I can't even sell it and even if I found someone to purchase it I would probably not get close to the price I paid. Even with the original box and paperwork included. Sweetwater doesn't even want to help me sell it. They'll help me with connecting to the computer. The problem is been there and done that. Can I interest any of you to purchase it. Along with the Brooklyn Bridge. Share your experience with Akai and even the TOUCH especially if you can give me some encouraging info on how you overcame any issues. Peace
